The VA Central Western Massachusetts in Leeds, MA requires a contractor to perform work which includes upgrading of the electrical distribution system to comply with current VHA, NFPA, Joint Commission, NEC, and other regulations and guidelines. Completing circuit tracing, renovating generator buildings for egress, upgrading generator exhaust systems, installation of new conduits, rewiring generator Buildings to correct emergency power classifications, installation of new automatic transfer switches, new electrical panels, metering device installation, and associated demolition and supporting electrical work. The Contractor shall provide professional services to include all labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, tools, temporary power services, equipment and permits necessary to in accordance with the scope of work. The purpose of this notice is to determine if there are qualified SDVOSBs or VOSBs, WOSBs, and Small Businesses that have the experience with this type of work and if such firms are interested in this procurement. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code is 238210 and the small business size standard is $19 Million. Interested firms should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer no later than 1:00 PM EST 1/23/2025, via email to Brian.Kelly@va.gov.
