The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research only.Description of Requirement:VA Providence Medical Center s Police Service requires the use of a (minimum) 25-yard firing range to provide firearms training and re-certifications to their police officers. The firearms range must be at least 75-feet in length and allow the use of 124gr. 9mm Jacketed hollow Point (JHP) Ammunition and .556mm NATO ammunition. The facility should be indoors whereas weather is not a factor thus providing the ability to utilize the facility year-round and shall have a functioning air exchange quality system.Prior Government contract work is not required to submit a response under this Sources Sought synopsis. The intent of the project is to award a firm fixed price purchase order agreement for one base year and four possible option years. The limitations of subcontracting will apply to any potential contract. The NAICS Code is 611699 and the size standard is $16.5 million. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there are any small businesses that can perform this requirement to warrant a solicitation set-aside.
