The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), St. Cloud Health Care System, St. Cloud, Minnesota intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) in accordance with the procedures set forth in FAR Part 15 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO23) intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for completion of construction Project Number: 656-24-501 Install Remote Generator Annunciators at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System, St. Cloud, MN. THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. In accordance with Public Law 109-461 and VAAR 819.7003 (b), offerors must be registered and certified in the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) at (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov) as a SDVOSB. Only proposals from verified SDVOSB-s at VetCert database at the time of proposal submission shall be deemed responsive. All non-responsive proposals shall be rejected and ineligible for award.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210, Electrical Contractors with the applicable small business size standard of $19 million. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), the offerors must represent to the Contracting Officer that it is a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
The Contractor for this project shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to install, test, and commission five (5) hard-wired remote generator annunciator panels for emergency generators at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center in accordance with NFPA 99 Subsection 6.7.1.2.7.
