THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. DLA Philadelphia intends to solicit (on a sole source basis) for the procurement of ITEM Digital Computer, NSN: 7RH 7021 017054064 BL, part number 344A090-552, quantity of 10 each, FOB Origin. Government source approval applies for this item. The only approved manufacturing source for this item is (03640) Lockheed and it is expected that the award will be made to this company. Any interested party which is not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR). This procurement will not be delayed for SAR approval. NAICS code 334111 and FSC 7021 apply. If required, applicable IUID and Buy American clauses will be included in the solicitation.The Government intends to acquire these supplies using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 15. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the supplies described. Interested parties may identify to the Contracting Specialist their interest and capability to satisfy the Government requirement with a commercial item WITHIN 15 days of this notice. This procurement is not a Total Small Business Set-Aside. No telephone requests will be honored, and paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed out.
