The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this notice is 334111 - Electronic Computer Manufacturing, Size Standard 1,250 employees, Product Service Code 7B22 - IT and Telecom - Compute: Servers (Hardware and Perpetual License Software). NAVSUP FLC Philadelphia intends to solicit on other than full and open competition basis for the Dell PowerEdge R760 servers products on the attached equipment list. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C). This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program (Title 41 U.S.C. 152(3) and Title 40 U.S.C.501, Services for Executive Agencies). This is a limited source action to be awarded as a new Federal Supply Schedule order to be awarded to Dell, a large business, or Dell authorized resellers. The placement of a firm-fixed price order is anticipated. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with authorized resellers of Dell, who hold the proprietary information for their Dell Servers Products and the associated ancillary equipment, on a sole source basis. The requirement is for Dell PowerEdge R760 server equipment is to procure Servers as part of a life-cycle management of end-of-life, end-of-support C5AD devices. The Joint Staff, J6 C5AD is procuring the following supplies and services for support: 16 PowerEdge R760 Servers, ProSupport for 3 Years, Warranties, Mellanox ConnectX-6 DX Dual Port 100GbE QSFP56 Network Adapter, Broadcom 5720 Dual Port 1GbE Optional LOM, Emulex LPe35002 Dual Port FC32 Fibre Channel HBA, PCIe Full Height, Intel E810-XXVDA4 Quad Port 10/25GbE SFP28 Adapter, OCP NIC 3.0, various other ancillary server products and Implementation Services.Please see the equipment list for full list of items attached to this Request for Information.
