- The New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development ("HPD") is responsible to abate and/or remediate lead-based paint in privately owned buildings when authorized by violations and other orders, as well as in City owned buildings under the supervision of HPD. HPD has neither sufficient staff with the requisite expertise, nor the equipment necessary to perform this type of work. This procurement is intended to result in the award of 1 new contract, valued at not to exceed $2,500,000, for the primary service area Brooklyn CDs 10-12, 14 & Staten Island, needed to fulfil the growing needs of HPD's entire lead abatement program.
