Description:
It is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions to describe the food delivery services being requested by the County for the justice-involved population at the Santa Rita Jail as well as for the County staff on-site.The County intends to award a five (5)-year contract (with the option to renew for up to five (5) years) to the Bidder selected as the most responsible Bidder whose response conforms to the RFP and meets the County-s requirements. The contract extension may be granted based on the Countys evaluation of vendor performance, adherence to contractual obligations, and evolving service needs.These specifications, terms, and conditions are to procure the most environmentally preferable products with equivalent or higher performance and at an equal or lower cost than traditional products. Specific requirements from the County-s Sustainability Program related to this RFP are included in the appropriate sections.
