Description
In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD is posting a sources sought notice for the manufacture and delivery of A/P22P-20 Parachute Survival Ensembles (PSE) production units to include subsystems, related assemblies, components, Program Management, and Engineering and Logistics Support Services.
Currently, BAE Systems Aerospace & Defense Group (BAE) is the only known responsible source that can produce the required PSEs to be installed in E-2 Aircraft, as BAE is the only source that possesses the tooling required for this effort. NAVAIR intends to prepare a Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other Than Full and Open Competition, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements," to BAE. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is 1670. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 336413.
