The 99th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to Marathon Medical, located at 3251 Lewiston Street, Suite 16, Auora, CO 80011,under FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services and in conjunction with the following authorities: 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements: 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(5), Authorized or Required by Statute and 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified Acquisition procedures. The 99MDG Mike O- Callagham Military Medical Center requires the following: 4ea - AC3 Optimus Intra- Aortic Balloon Pump System FiberOptix Capability. Marathon Medical is the only SDVOSB distributor who can provide this required equipment.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Capability statements shall not exceed 5 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
