Description:
The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District (MPRPD) invites you to submit a Proposal for purchase of (2) new Four-Wheel Drive, pickup trucks, (1 full-size, 1 mid-size). These vehicles will be used primarily by Operations, Maintenance, and Conservation staff on both paved and unpaved roads throughout District parklands. Specifications are attached and any deviations from the specifications should be clearly entered on the Proposal Form. Submit your Proposal on the enclosed Proposal Form no later than Response Submission Time - Response Submission Date. Proposals must be uploaded on the Districts online procurement site, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/mprpd.Proposers are required to state the maximum time necessary to deliver both pickup trucks to the MPRPD on the Proposal Form, but in any case no later than June 30, 2025. If the trucks are not delivered within the time stated on the Proposal Form, MPRPD may terminate the purchase of the trucks by giving written notice. The proposer will not be responsible for any time delays caused by circumstances, which are reasonably beyond the proposer-s control. Complete instructions and conditions are contained in the enclosed “Information to Proposers.\"The trucks will be delivered to the MPRPD completely assembled, prepared and ready to operate with all equipment cataloged as standard by the manufacturer and included in the total Proposal price. The MPRPD is exempt from DMV fees, but local 7.75% sales tax is applicable.
