Tender are invited for The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-72825 (Lot 5, Block 3), consisting of approximately 54,750 square feet, at Kotzebue Airport for an additional 48 years. Applicant: Bering Air, Inc. Annual rent: $11,880.75 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: aeronautical - conduct commercial aviation and air taxi operations; include fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft for scheduled and chartered flights for the transportation of passengers, cargo, and mail; parking and storage of aircraft; maintenance of aircraft; storage of aircraft parts and storage of maintenance tools and supplies; storage and maintenance of ground service equipment; storage of mail and cargo and fueling of company aircraft with company 2200 gallon Jet A mobile fuel truck and or above ground 2000 gallon tank for av gas.This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition.
