- Description :The Pawtucket Water Supply Board (PWSB) is requesting the submission of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from licensed professional engineering consultants to provide engineering services related to the following: 1. Groundwater source evaluation and exploration for enhancement and optimization of the existing PWSB well field aquifer. 2. Evaluation of groundwater quality and treatment techniques for suspected and known contaminants including pilot or full scale testing evaluation. 3. Preliminary and final design of groundwater well(s) and pumping facilities, support infrastructure and groundwater treatment facilities. The goal of the project is to provide the PWSB with a long-term solution and strategy for optimizing groundwater supply production and for cost effective treatment for production of high quality drinking water.
