Tender are invited for ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCESDivision of Mining, Land and WaterNOTICE OF PRELIMINARY DECISION ON SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SITES (ADL 234628)US GoldMining, Inc In accordance with AS 38.05.035 & AS 38.05.020, the Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW) has issued a preliminary decision to US GoldMining, Inc (“Applicant”) request for a Solid Waste Disposal Site. The preliminary decision recommends authorizing a Restricted Use Authorization (RUA) for a term of 5 years, providing landowner authorization for the construction, use, and maintenance of a landfill. Additionally, DMLW proposes to consent to leaving three previously unauthorized solid waste landfills in place. The public is invited to comment on this preliminary decision. Written comments must be received by DNR no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025.
