Description:
Proposals should demonstrate the submitter-s ability to fully meet the following Scope of Services: 1. Site Survey and Design: a. Perform pre-installation inspections of meter pit locations, identifying any accessibility issues or site-specific constraints. b. Document and report any issues that could impact installation or endpoint connectivity. 2. Equipment and Installation: a. Install approximately 8,000 Itron cellular AMI endpoints. b. Install approximately 4,000 new Diehl meters. c. Retrofit approximately 4,000 existing meters with Itron connectors. d. Handle pit lid modifications as outlined in optional enhancements. e. Ensure that all installations meet manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. 3. Technical Requirements: a. Ensure each endpoint and meter is securely and correctly installed and integrated with the City-s AMI system. b. Conduct on-site configuration and activation testing to confirm functionality. 4. Equipment Room: a. The City will provide a secure staging and storage area for equipment, as well as workspace with Wi-Fi access for contractor use. 5. Integration and Training: a. Collaborate with the City-s technical staff and AMI vendor to ensure successful endpoint integration. b. Provide operational training to City staff as required. 6. Meter Inventory Overview a.
