Description:
The Town of Berlin (owner) invites construction firms to submit proposals for construction services to redevelop the outdoor ice rink into a four season recreation facility at the Town Office Building on Shed Road in Berlin, Vermont. Work will generally include: the removal of the existing ice rink boards, site grading and drainage improvements, expansion of the existing gravel wetland, installation of a 65- by 134- concrete slab on grade, landscaping, site electric, and site lighting. The project includes additional site improvements as add alternates should funding be available. It is the Owner-s intent to retain a contractor to perform construction of the site improvements this summer between July 7th and November 1st. For firms that wish to participate, bid proposals will be received until 10:00 AM on May 1st at the Town Zoning Administrator-s Office, 108 Shed Road, Berlin, VT 05602. An optional Pre-bid Meeting and site visit is scheduled at the Town Office Building, 108 Shed Road, Berlin, VT at 9:00 AM on April 21, 2025.
