Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command intends on awarding a Firm Fixed Price sole source order to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS), Moorestown, New Jersey, for AEGIS Combat System Support Equipment under Basic Ordering Agreement number N00024-21-G-5102. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), the property or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency.
LM RMS is the only responsible source that has the specific production engineering background, extensive integration and test facilities, prior AWS MK7 and MK8 experience, and in-depth technical expertise to provide the requirements to be procured under this BOA. This is not a request for competitive proposals.
