Description
Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure AEGIS Combat System Support Equipment via a Firm Fixed Price sole source order to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) via Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-21-G-5102 and in accordance with Class Justification and Approval 53,422. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), LM RMS is the only responsible source that has the specific production engineering background and in-depth technical expertise to provide the AEGIS Combat System Support Equipment required by this order.
Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities shall contact LM RMS directly. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement no later than fifteen (15) days the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
