This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Firm-Fixed Price, supply contract for heat treat furnaces to the United States Air Force Life Cycle Material Command (AFLCMC). This requirement is for the supply of heat treat furnaces to ensure the AFLCMC is able to alter physical and mechanical properties of metals through controlled heating and cooling processes. (See Section C of RFQ and attached Commercial Identification Description (CID) for technical specifications)
This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. All supplies submitted by proposed Contractors for consideration must be heat treat furnaces that meet the minimum technical specifications identified in this RFQ.
