THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION
This presolicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes.
The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constiture a solicitation for bid or quotes, and should not be constructed as a commitment by the Government.
The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).
The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipayard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to solicit to Leonardo DRS, Marlo Coil to provide installation and technical assistance of a Ship Stores Refrigeration Unit (SSRU) onboard a Virginia Class Submarine.
In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-25-Q-0013 ws posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), SAM.gov, from 18 December 2024 - 23 December 2024 to satisy this requirement. The Government received one response from industry indicating interest in the requirement, but capability was not provided. This pre-solicitation notice does not constitute as a request for quotes. Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-25-Q-0013, in accordnace with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204. A solicitation notice will be posted on or about 10 January 2025.
