Special Notice
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) requires the procurement, installation and maintenance of a 50HP Rotary Screw Compressor and Air Dryer. A combined Synopsis and Solicitation Notice is forthcoming.
Offerors are encouraged to perform a site visit prior to fully understand the scope of this requirement. A responsible source may submit a request for a Site Visit to occur at a requested and mutually agreed upon date between the Government and contractor from 27 May 2025 through 05 June 2025. Instructions to request a Site Visit are provided as an attachment to this document.
This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A responsible source may submit a request for a Site Visit.
Any questions regarding this notice shall be submitted prior to 04 June 2024 at 1400 EST. The Government Point of Contact is Maria Diaz-Sotomayor, maria.d.diaz-sotomayor.civ@us.navy.mil.
The anticipated place of performance under this contract is the Naval Undersea Warfare Center located in Newport, Rhode Island.

Question:Reading the bid did not state a need for filters and an oil / water separator? Does the air room need either or? Also, will there be a forklift on site? Will someone be operating the forklift?
Answer: Existing dryer is equipped with a SULLAIR 250024-427 filter going into the dryer and a SULLAIR 250024-435 filter discharging from the dryer. Contractor will be responsible for supplying and installing same or equivalent on new dryer.
Forklift on site is a Combi lift CB6000. 6000lb capacity. An Operator will be available if arrangements are made in advance. - Documents:
