- The City of Chesapeake is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for ELGI Air compressors and related equipment and an associated maintenance/service contract for the compressors and equipment at the Lake Gaston and Northwest River Water Treatment Plants. Pricing is also sought to establish a maintenance contract for two(2) existing ELGI compressors , and repair services and part support for three (3) existing Aerzen/Delta (membrane) blowers and two (2) existing 624 Roots/Dresser Ram Manganese Contactor Blowers. The air compressor equipment identified in this solicitation was determined after an air audit was conducted in February 2024 and supports the increased air demand needed for handling two additional production trains.
