NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS: AMIC Det 2 OL/PKA Contracting Squadron, Patrick SFB, FL contemplates awarding a single source purchase order as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for SureStore U2000 Hardware Maintenance Warranty Renewal to PSSC Labs. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), PSSC Labs, is the only source that can provide the warranty required for this requirement. This requirement requires 21 existing SureStore U2000 servers to be assumed under a maintenance and warranty contract. Air Force Tactical Application Center (AFTAC) uses PSSC Labs brand named equipment for proper intergeneration into Cloudera Data Flow Suite clusters hosted in three test and three operational domains at AFTAC facilities. These servers are specifically paired with the Cloudera Data Flow software suite to take advantage of Computer Programming Unit (CPU), Random Access Memory (RAM), storage, and network capabilities that produce known performance characteristics in moving large amounts of specific data types across multiple security domains to meet AFTAC's mission requirements. This hardware utilizes specific operating system language and interfaces specific code customized to enable systems to provide critical services necessary to meet data transfers supporting AFTAC's Treaty Monitoring mission with the necessary accuracy and precision required. The SureStore U2000 HDF Servers are proprietary, and PSSC Labs is the only company that can provide warranty support, maintenance, and service. PSSC Labs has no authorized resellers for the SureStore series of servers and any extended warranty service offerings. Existing warranty would be considered null and void if current equipment was maintained outside of PSSC Lab's warranty service agreements.
