This is a Source Sought Notice and should not be construed as a solicitation announcement.
The 380th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron located at Al Dhafra Air Base (ADAB), UAE, is sourcing local (within 150 km radius of ADAB) vendors that are responsible in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 9 and are capable of performing both simple and complex construction services on ADAB. The Government intends to use this information to increase its potential vendor database.
This is Sources Sought notice shall not be construed in any manner to be an obligation on behalf of the Government or result in any claim for reimbursement of costs for any effort expended in responding to this request.
Future construction contracts may have a project magnitude with a minimum of $2,000.00 to a maximum aggregate value of $45,000,000.00. All potential contractors must be registered in SAM.gov (See Internet Site https://sam.gov) and the Joint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS) and be approved/rated in order to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site https://jccs.gov. Also, potential contractors shall abide by applicable FAR, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AAFARS), and mandatory procedures. (See Internet Site http://www.acquisition.gov.) All contractors interested in future business with ADAB must be able to gain access through the appropriate Emirati and US checkpoints.
