Description:
The City Of Covington (city) Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Firms Interested In Providing Construction Services For A Project Known As The Alcovy Road Sewer Rehabilitation (the Project). The Alcovy Road Sewer System, Spanning Approximately 4,400 Linear Feet, Serves A Critical Area Of Covington. This System Includes 15 Manholes That Are Approximately 10-12 Feet Deep. Recent Inspections Have Raised Concerns About The Aging Infrastructure And Potential Failures. The City Is Focused On Evaluating The Current Condition Of The System And Determining The Most Suitable Method For Rehabilitation Or Replacement. The City Desires To Select A Qualified Contractor To Gather Critical Information About The Alcovy Road Sewer System, Which Will Allow The City To Make An Informed Decision About The Appropriate Rehabilitation Or Replacement Method. The Selected Contractor Will Be Responsible For Conducting Cctv Inspections, Monitoring Wastewater Flow, And Evaluating The Existing Pipeline¿s Capacity.
