Tender are invited for Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:APPLICANT: Denali Fat Truck Tours LLC.PROJECT NAME: LAS 34017GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The proposed off-road travel will occur on the established trails and creek bed in the Healy area.REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Denali Fat Truck Tours LLC. has applied to amend land use permit LAS 34017 to include the use of two additional off-road vehicles for its commercial scenic tours on state land in the Healy area. Up to a total of four off-road vehicles will be used to varying degrees for the tours. It is anticipated that the off-road travel on state land will increase from approximately 800 trips to 1,200 trips per year, depending on the tour reservations. The proposed amendment only pertains to the use of the two additional off-road vehicles. All other activities and conditions authorized in the current permit will remain unchanged.DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 18, 2025The public is invited to comment on this activity.
