Description:
Alachua County is soliciting bids from qualified and licensed fire protection service providers in the State of Florida to perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs for fire protection systems across various County-owned and leased facilities. Services include fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps and risers, fire alarm systems, suppression systems (Halon, FM-200, Ansul), and portable fire extinguishers.The awarded vendor will be responsible for conducting scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to service calls, documenting all work in the County-s FlowPath work order system, and assisting with equipment labeling using FlowPath-generated QR codes. All services must comply with current NFPA standards, Florida regulations, and County procedures.This contract includes:Quarterly and annual inspections as required by NFPA.Semi-annual and annual servicing of suppression systems.Annual inspections and hydrostatic testing of extinguishers.Timely reporting of deficiencies and incidents.Use of FlowPath for work orders, proposals, quotes, invoicing, and records.Pre-scheduled site visits and participation in kickoff and annual review meetings.All vendors must be properly licensed, conduct site visits prior to bidding, and include all required documentation and pricing in their submissions.
