The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 1901 FAR Part 13.106-1 (b) (2); Soliciting from a Single Source because they are unique services available from only one source Siemens Industry Inc. at 8066 Flint St, Lenexa, KS 66214 will onsite labor (5 days each week during the contract year), all system license renewals and upgrade projects to current systems..The place of performance is for the Department of Veterans Affairs Kansas City Medical Center located at 4801 East Linwood Blvd., MO 64128. The NAICS code for these items is 561210 (Facilities Support Services). This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five 12-month (one year) ordering periods. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT October 06 at 16:30 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
