Description:
The purpose of this Bid is to establish a firm pricing schedule for contracting with a vendor for replacement services for 4 types of roofing materials as needed for scheduled roof replacement projects priced less than or equal to $100,000. The vendor(s), in order to be considered responsible, must possess either a Certified Roofing Contractor (CRC), Registered Roofing Contractor (RRC), or Certified General Contractor (CGC) as long as all roofing work is performed by a properly licensed Roofing Contractor.Contractor will be under the direct supervision of the Facilities Management Department personnel for work assignments. Contractor shall be responsible for quality of work and assuring that work meets all existing codes. The Contractor will provide all necessary tools, materials and equipment to complete the various roofing replacement projects. Materials, purchased for Alachua County for each specific project, shall be approved by the Facilities Manager or designee prior to purchase and shall remain property of Alachua County. Contractor shall transport materials to job sites as requested, at no additional cost to the County. All material shall be OSHA approved.The Contractor will have to be flexible for County Buildings which operate 24 hours perday. Exception to normal working hours will be arranged with the Contractor and theFacilities Manager or designee prior to the commencement of any projects.
