Description:
TCCD is seeking a qualified design professional to submit their qualifications for a scope of services to provide full architectural and engineering design services for the reconfiguration of an existing data center at Trinity River Campus in the Trinity River Clear Fork Building.The objectives of this project will be to reduce the footprint and fully enclose the data center. The existing MEP infrastructure such as fire suppression, cooling and water detection that supports the Data Center will be modified to support this new space.The project scope includes architectural layout and fire-rated partition design, mechanical/HVAC system reconfiguration, electrical and lighting upgrades, fire protection and life safety modifications, security system integration, and Building Automation System (BAS) coordination. All design work must comply with the Owner-s Technical Design Guidelines, applicable building, fire, mechanical, and electrical codes (IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, NEC), and security standards.TCCD commissioned a study which was completed in August 2022 and is taken as a basis for the formulation of the scope of the project. This study is attached to this RFQ document and is included for reference.
