- Project Description: Texas State University (“University”), in its designation as an emerging researchuniversity, seeks Texas licensed architect firms with expertise in general Architecture services. Thissolicitation may result in an annual contract for Architect Services on new building construction, majorrenovations, infrastructure, and other miscellaneous projects, on an as-needed basis. Services associatedwith this solicitation are not for a specific project or series of projects. It is anticipated that a contract willbe issued to one or more qualified Architect firms.Selected firms will be contracted to enter into an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (“IDIQ”) contractwith the University for services on capital improvement, renovation, facility upgrades, and otherinfrastructure projects as needed. The contract will be known as an IDIQ contract, because the scope,number of projects, and tasks will be unknown at the time of contract execution. Firms may be assignedvarious projects as they may arise, based on the nature of the services required and the resources of thefirm. Projects awarded under the IDIQ contract are most typically those with a short duration, as well asthose with expedited completion dates. The term of the IDIQ contract(s) awarded will extend throughapproximately August 31, 2026, with the possibility of three (3), one-year renewal periods.
