Description:
Pursuant to the Port St. Lucie City Code of Ordinance 35.07, this electronic RFP is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified proposer who will provide to the City of Port St. Lucie (hereinafter, “City”) as further described in this RFP.The City of Port St. Lucie, by way of the MIDFLORIDA Event Center (MFEC), and the Parks & Recreation Dept. (P&R), is seeking interested parties to provide armed security services at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center. Interested companies (at a high-level) must demonstrate: 1) a proven track record in performing the functions/services as outlined in this statement of work in similar or like facilities; 2) can provide references stating as such; 3) possess at least 5 years of established experience as an entity that provides armed security services.The location of this assignment: The MIDFLORIDA Event Center, in support of the Event Center, along with the Parks & Recreation Dept., which shares a portion of the overall facility. It should be noted that Security has been present at this facility since it was brought on nearly two years ago. The address of this location is: 9221 SE Event Center Place, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
