DESCRIPTION:The Government intends to use a brand name product. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research ONLY to determine the availability of Brand Name Items.
The U.S. Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC) Regional Contracting Office (RCO) is planning on issuing a solicitation pursuant to the authority in FAR 13.106-1(b). This includes brand name components, as described in the Attachment 1 - Specification Document, unless the results of this sources sought notification indicates otherwise. The brand name justification document (Attachment 2) amplifies the governments reason for pursuing a brand-name item, this document has been provided as draft. This notification intends to identify potential sources that can provide the brand name item or equivalent. In order for alternate items to be considered equivalent by the government, the items must meet the minimum salient characteristics outlined in the Specifications Document.Hardware, software, and related accessories are to be delivered and used in Okinawa, Japan.
