INTRODUCTION: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to issue a modification to the AN/APR-39D(V)2 production contract to modify the AN/APR-39D(V)2 for which NGSC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Prime Contractor. This order aims to support programmatic, engineering, and technical tasks to modify the OFP to an FMS-exportable configuration to be used with the AN/APR-39D(V)2 Radar Signal Detection Set (RSDS). The tasks shall include development and implementation of the APR-39D(V)2 FMS Processor configurations (Part Number 001-008696-0305) System Trouble Reports (STR). All updates on this order shall be developed and implemented in a way that enables future FMS OFPs to have equivalent or increased functionality.

It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible businesses capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice.
