NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:

The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Advanced Simulation Techonology inc. (ASTi) 500A Huntmar Drive, Herndon, VA 20170 for the acquisition of a Software and IA maintenance Subscription. The NAICS Code is 513210 and the SBA Size Standards in $47,000,000 dollars.
Item(s) to be obtained is as follows:Description:ASTi Software and IA Maintenance Subscription, PoP 5 Years (Base Yr + 4 Option Yrs)
This is not a request for quotations. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government-s requirements. In addition, the response should indicate the contractor-s size status in respect to NAICS Code 513210 and indicate completion of Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items provision FAR 52.212-3 which can be done electronically via SAM.GOV. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ to get a copy or contact the contract specialist by email to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12.
