The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award asole source, firm fixed price award to College of American Pathologists (large business) locatedat 325 Waukegan RD, Northfield, Illinois 60093-2750, for Linearity Supplies for one (1) baseyear and four (4) option years for the Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Healthcare System,Laboratory Service to include the Fayetteville Healthcare System, Wilmington Health CareCenter, and Fayetteville NC VA Healthcare System. The Government intends to award thecontract with an effective date of October 1, 2025.This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available and telephone requestswill not be accepted. This is a brand name only requirement and College of AmericanPathologists is the manufacture and exclusive provider of these linearity reagents. Marketresearch has determined that these items are highly specialized, are only available from a singlesource without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of items willsatisfy agency requirements. These linearity supplies meet all current standards and/orestablished regulations.However, any business that believes it can provide the Linearity Supplies may give writtennotice to stephanie.mcelmore@va.gov by 10:00am EST on July 16, 2025. Supportingevidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with theabove requirement.
