The SRS Athens Forestry Sciences Laboratory (SRS Athens) is part of the USDA Forest Service Southern Research Station (SRS), whose primary facilities are located on approximately three acres within the perimeter of the main campus of the University of Georgia, in the rapidly growing metropolitan area of Athens-Clarke County. Secondary facilities are located less than five miles away at Whitehall Forest.
A site visit will be conducted on Thursday, September 04, 2025, at 9:00am
