The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), has a requirement to procure This requires a qualified Attending Veterinarian (AV) working closely with EL-s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and providing guidance to scientists conducting animal research. The purpose of this action is to keep a veterinarian with appropriate credentials as required by DoD to serve as the AV for the EL-s Animal Care and Use Program (the Program).
The ERDC intends to issue an award to (Senter Consulting Services (CAGE Code: 4XTH5) on a sole source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency. EL must have a qualified AV associated with the Program, or it risks losing its authority to work with vertebrates, and that would be devastating to EL-s ability to perform that facet of its mission. Hence, the critical need for continuous AV services in support of the Program. Senter Consulting Services is a small business concern. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541940 Veterinary Services with a size standard of $10,000,000 dollars.
