Purpose Of Procurement Pursuant To The State Purchasing Act (official Code Of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 Et Seq.), This Electronic Request For Proposals (erfp) Is Being Issued To Establish A Contract With A Qualified Supplier Who Will Provide Au - Campus Transit Services (re-bid) To The Augusta University (the State Entity) As Further Described In This Erfp. Augusta University Parking And Transportation Services Requests Competitive Proposals From Qualified Firms To Provide Transit Bus Service For The Augusta University Campus. Augusta University Offers Four Fixed Bus Routes In Augusta, Ga With Nearly 260,000 Annual Passenger Boardings Per Year. Augusta University¿s Transit Contractor Will Operate Daily Service Out Of A Bus Yard Located On The Augusta University Health Sciences Campus At 1499 Walton Way, Augusta, Ga 30901. The Selected Vendor Will Establish And Maintain A Comprehensive And Turn-key Transit Operation, Including Buses, Bus Operators, Transit Management, Dot Compliance, And A Maintenance Program For A Fleet Of Eight Cutaway Buses (to Include One Spare Bus).
