- Description:
- As requested by the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners, and the duly elected County Officers, the Office of Procurement and Contracts is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States, the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accounting Offices (GAO) Government Auditing Standards, the provisions of the Federal Single Audit Act and Amendments, the Florida Single Audit Act, F.S. 215.97, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133 Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations.The audits shall be financial audits as defined by Section 11.45 Florida Statutes, Rules of the Auditor General Chapter 10.550, regulations of the Florida Department of Banking and Finance and other applicable laws or standards.
