The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin (MB) Region - Regional Office is issuing this Sources Sought notice to determine the availability and capability of small business sources for a contemplated construction project titled: Arkansas Valley Conduit (AVC) Crowley Reach 1. This notice is a tool to identify small businesses that have both the technical expertise and bonding capability to accomplish the work required for (AVC) Crowley Reach 1 and is for informational purposes only. Information obtained through this notice may be used to determine the potential for issuing a future solicitation for this project as a total small business set-aside, and to provide input for the Governments overall acquisition strategy.The AVC is a major infrastructure project that upon completion will convey a reliable municipal and industrial water supply from Pueblo Reservoir to 40 communities serving a projected future population of 50,000 people in southeastern Colorado. The service area includes water providers in Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero, Prowers, and Pueblo counties. When completed, the AVC will supply as much as 7,500 acre-feet annually to these communities.This is NOT a Request for Proposals or an Invitation for Bids and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice.
