Pre-Solicitation NoticeW9128F25RA051At an estimated time line of 3Q FY25, this office will issue a solicitation for B-21 B7520 Battery Storage - Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. This solicitation will use trade-off source selection procedures under Best-value continuum. Proposals will be tentatively due during 3Q/4Q FY25.No amount is to be charged for solicitation documents.This solicitation is RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION.This project will be executed using a design-bid-build (DBB) project delivery method.Estimate of the magnitude of this project is between $1M - $5M.
Project Description:
This project will construct a new single-story maintenance (MX) battery storage facility. Structure will consist of strip footings, concrete or masonry walls, steel or concrete roof framing. Interior partitions will be concrete, masonry, and/or metal stud with gypsum board. Facility will include approximately 500-750 SF of lithium-ion battery storage and charging space. Building will be minimally occupied and will be specifically for battery storage. Installation of associated site features, paving, and utilities may be required.
