Description:
The scope of work for this contract will consist of cross connection control device maintenance for the City of Palo Alto, this will include the repair, replacement, and testing of a variety of backflow prevention devices as requested by the City. The contractor will be responsible for providing labor, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, fuel, essential communications, and any other components to complete the work in compliance with City and State Standards. All work must be completed within the identified time frame and documentation for the completed work must be submitted according to the timeline set forth in the Cross Connection Control Program-s (CCCP) requirements. All work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Contract Documents, which may be necessary for the completion of the Work in good faith, shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the City.The City of Palo Alto staff will be performing the initial tests on the City-s approximately 417 devices. Contractor will be asked to perform work to any devices that fail their initial tests.
