Availability of Funds (Apr 1984)Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government-s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
In accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation and Defense between the Government of the United States and the Government of Portugal, this solicitation is exclusively available to businesses operating within the country of Portugal. Article VIII of the Technical Agreement, pertaining to Procurement on the Local Market, establishes that the United States Government will prioritize the use of Portuguese sources for goods and services whenever feasible. Thus, this solicitation is restricted to business entities that operate within the territorial boundaries of Portugal.
Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal is looking for Backflow Repair Kits. All required items are outlined in the Attachment 1 - CLIN Structure & Salient Characteristics. Please note, '"or equal" items are accepted the Offeror must clearly identify the items being submitted as "or equal".
Please ensure to review all 3 documents attached in this notice. The offeror must complete the Attachment 1 along with their submission. Please ensure to provide pricings for all 52 items (000101 - 000152) listed in Attachment 1.
