• THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT.
  INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE -BAGSUITS AND HOODS
  The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Contracting Office (Code 400) provides this notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Frham Safety Products Inc for Bagsuits and Hoods. Frham Safety Products Inc is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only source authorized to provide the required equipment parts.
  This acquisition is being processed as a sole source award under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which allows for solicitation from a single source when circumstances deem only one source reasonably available. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared to support this determination.
