Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is only a sources sought announcement and not an intent to procure. A solicitation is not available at this time and no requests for solicitation will not receive a response. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Indo-Pacific is conducting market research to identify local sources capable and interested in fulfilling a possible requirement for the procurement and delivery of bakery products for Mainland of Japan (see SSN Attachment1 Schedule). The responses to these sources sought synopsis will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions for the next procurement phase. After reviewing the responses submitted regarding this potential acquisition, a solicitation announcement may be published in SAM.gov if and when the Government intends to continue with the procurement.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 311812 associated with Commercial Bakeries. DLA Troop Support Indo-Pacific contemplates a Firm-Fixed Priced, BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) type contract with the right to extend the BPA for up to five (5) years.
The small business size standard is 1000 employees.
Interested parties shall provide the following information to the Government:
(1) Name of company - include company address, contact person-s name, telephone number, and email address.
(2) Company size (please specify as large, small business, etc.).
(3) Firm-s ability to provide the items listed above along with as follows:
Item lead times, Applicable Unique Entity ID, Tax Identification Number (TIN), System for Award Management (SAM) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code number; and(4) Brief Capabilities Statement of Company.
