Description:
Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the 911th MSG/PK, intends to award a five-month, with a three-month option, sole source, Firm-Fixed Price, Labor Hour and Cost Reimbursement contract extension, to the incumbent Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and Woman-Owned Small Business, Criterion Corporation. Use of the authority under FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source – No other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, was found appropriate as any lapse in the award of a contract for Base Operations Support (BOS) services, which provides mission-essential services to Pittsburgh ARS and other tenant organizations, would result in the shut-down of operations at Pittsburgh ARS, PA and loss of support to the tenant organizations. As evidenced in the draft sole source justification, there is only one contractor that could meet the requirements of this contract without unacceptable delays or duplication of costs. Proposals ARE NOT being requested, and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued.
