THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE OF A SET-ASIDE FOR SB Bid-Build (B/B) Correct Patient Privacy Deficiencies 2N/2S, Project No. 573A4-18-603.
This procurement is set-aside based on an order of priority as established in 38 U.S.C. 8127.
SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS (SB): This solicitation is being issued as a Set aside for Small Business. This is a re-solicitation. Set aside has been open to SB due to lack of response on initial solicitation 36C24825R0067 that was posted as SDVOSB.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08 (NCO 08) is posting the synopsis for the follow-on RFP # 36C24825R0127 Bid-Build (BB) Correct Patient Privacy Deficiencies 2N/2S, Project No. 573A4-18-603, at the Lake City VA Medical Center, located at 619 South Marion Avenue Lake City, FL 32025-5808.
The estimated period of performance to correct patient privacy deficiencies is for a total of 689 calendar days for all phases of the project after receipt of the notice to proceed. This is a complex project that will modernize the patient experience at the facility by improving the inpatient accommodations as well as installing new mechanical (HVAC) systems that will extend the life of the facility itself. The 2nd floor will be completely renovated (est. 30,000 ft²); in doing so existing utilities and systems must be maintained for the upper and lower floors not undergoing renovation at this time, this will involve rerouting of the existing system(s) to bypass the 2nd floor.
