This shall include instrumentation as well as all necessary supplies, reagents, collection and testing kits, service, maintenance, and parts needed to produce a patient result. Contractor shall provide the testing reagents and supplies for use on the BD Bactec MGIT 960 Mycobacterial Detections System.Period of Performance:Year 1: 05/17/2025 05/16/2026Year 2: 05/17/2026 05/16/2027Year 3: 05/17/2027 05/16/2028Year 4: 05/17/2028 05/16/2029Year 5: 05/17/2029 05/16/2030Responses received will be reviewed; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Network Contracting Office 1 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with BD Bactec MGIT as noted herein. Costs associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor, and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government. Verbal and telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901.The intent is to procure the referenced services on a sole source basis.
