    DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. This project will renourish shoreline in Palm Beach County, within the City of Delray Beach. The Delray Beach segment is between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments R-175 and R-188a. The sand for the project will be sourced from an offshore borrow area. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, vibration control and monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring.A pre-bid conference/site visit will take place and the date will be posted with the solicitation. Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend and must follow conference registration and access requirements shown in the solicitation.NAICS Code is: 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup ActivitiesThe Small Business Standard is $37 million.Magnitude of construction is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00.The expected period of performance associated with this requirement is: 210 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the NTP. THIS WILL BE AN UNRESTRICTED SOLICITATION. The Government anticipates issuing the Invitation for Bid (IFB) on or about 18 July 2025, and bids will be due on or about 19 August 2025. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Sam.gov website at https://sam.gov/.
