Description:
The project for Benny-s Shack Island is located in the Lower Laguna Madre, Texas. Base work for Benny-s Shack Island includes the construction of 1,480 LF of graded riprap breakwater placed in shallow water as shoreline protection, placement of approximately 19,400 CY (neatline) of imported sand fill material and approximately 2,000 CY of sandy loam fill material, and the installation of 4 daybeacons. Additive work includes construction of up to 470 LF of additional graded riprap breakwater and placement of approximately 6,500 CY of additional sand fillmaterial.The project for Tern Rookery Island is located in the Upper Laguna Madre, Texas. Base work includes the construction of 1,175 LF of graded riprap erosion control structure placed in shallow water as shoreline protection, placement of approximately 2,380 CY (neatline) of imported fill material and 755 CY of sandy loam, and the installation of 4 daybeacons.
